The League of NH Craftsmen Craftsmen’s Fair at Mount Sunapee Resort in Newbury, NH, is the place to be this weekend! Our volunteers were on hand to greet visitors and assisted many of the local artists at their booths. The fair runs through 8/11 and it’s worth the trip!

Yesterday afternoon, our Vice President of Transmission Project Development, Siting and Project Services Catherine Finneran joined CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Commissioner Katie Scharf Dykes and other partners, along with federal and state lawmakers to celebrate the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)'s selection of Power Up New England to receive funding under the Grid Innovation Program. We’re very excited to be teaming up with CT DEEP and all our project partners across the state and region to advance our Huntsbrook Offshore Wind project, which will accelerate clean energy integration, enable a more reliable and resilient electric grid and create high-quality jobs in southeastern Connecticut. As our Provincetown Battery Energy Storage System continues to deliver significant electric reliability benefits to our Cape Cod customers, our team who engineered the innovative solution are sharing lessons learned with industry leaders interested in replicating the techniques we used on this complex design. Recently, this 😎 tech was highlighted during a panel discussion at the 2024 . “It’s satisfying to know that our battery and inverter-based technology solution activated when our customers needed us most,” said our Manager of Technology Projects Anuj Mathur.

⚡ Exciting clean energy news: Power Up New England was just selected by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for federal funding under the Grid Innovation Program! Our Huntsbrook Offshore Wind Hub—one of the projects in the Power Up New England portfolio—will establish a new location in southeastern Connecticut for an offshore wind project to safely and reliably connect to the electric grid.
